Mantua, 03 April 2025 – Commenting on the possible consequences of the latest international events, Michele Colaninno, CEO of the Immsi Group and the Piaggio Group (IMS.MI, parent of the Piaggo Group), said: “This is obviously an anomalous global situation, but our Group will be able to respond to the problem so as to mitigate the risks.
“Thanks to its strategy for production in a number of different countries, Piaggio is in a position to manage less severe impacts on prices and margins.
“Meanwhile, the Intermarine subsidiary, a leading player in the defence sector with its Seabed Warfare naval vessels, is an anticyclical business thanks to a European order book worth more than one billion euro, and today is at the heart of European talks concerning possible industrial consolidation in the sector.”
